Product Description: Low Pressure Polyurethane Foam
Handi-Foam® E-84 Fire Retardant Spray foams have all the same properties and advantages of our standard Two-Component foams but are also rated for applications requiring a fire retardant insulation meeting ASTM E-84 Class 1 standards. E-84 Foam Kits are ideal for applications around or near heat producing machinery or for areas where the foam will not be covered with drywall or other approved thermal barrier after it’s application. Handi-Foam® E-84 is closed cell, has a density of 1.75 lbs per cubic foot and an R-value of 6-7 per inch. E-84 Foam Kits are tack-free in less than a minute, can be trimmed and cut in 2-5 minutes and are completely cured in several hours. Foam yield is best when the foam container contents are properly warmed to a range of 75F-85F. E-84 Foam can be trimmed, sanded and painted. Foam is not UV resistant unless painted or stained. All Handi-Foam® products are completely free of any VOC’s. Handi-Foam® Two-Component E-84 Kits come with everything you will need for a successful insulation job.
