Soffit vents are designed to increase air movement and ventilation in an attic. However, during periods of strong wind and rain, these vents can create havoc on your attic's insulation system. Batt blow-outs and soggy insulation often result from wind and rain that enters through the vents. The Bafflo® is designed to eliminate these factors and enhance your system's ability to insulate. It allows the installer to create a tight seal at the top plate that is not affected by air flow through the soffits.

Product Description:

Insul-Lite® is a fire retardant cover designed to allow the installer to insulate safely and effectively around recessed lights. Research has shown that without proper insulation, areas around recessed lights can allow a large amount of heat energy to enter/escape from a building. However, insulation placed too close to lights can also be a fire hazard. When installed, the Insul-Lite® allows insulation to be placed as close to the light or heat producing fixture as possible without the risk of fire.

Product Description:

Viper® CS 6.5 is a high performance crawl-space vapor barrier designed to prevent moisture migration from the soil into the crawl-space. Viper® CS 6.5 helps guard against mold, mildew, allergens, fungus, radon gas, methane gas, heat loss due to damp insulation, wood rot and overall degradation of the crawl-space.

Composition & Materials:  Viper® CS 6.5 is a white, 6.5-mil triple ply, extrusion coated, virgin polyethylene membrane. Viper® CS 6.5 is manufactured using woven high-density fibers yielding the highest strength to weight ratio, tensile strength, tear resistance, bursting strength and puncture resistance of any product produced of its kind.

WT4 Vapor Barrier Seam Tape - 4" x 180'

 

Product Description:

Four-inch wide white polyethylene tape designed for use with any plastic type insulation or vapor barrier.  Vapor barrier seam tape is a low-residue, aggressive adhesive tape designed for seaming, splicing, sealing, patching and hanging plastic type vapor barrier materials. White Polyethylene Tape bonds well to most surfaces over a wide temperature range.  It is designed with a serrated edge to facilitate easy tearing during installation.

Composition & Materials:  White Polyethylene Tape is compiled of a polyethylene film, single coated with a rubber pressure sensitive adhesive which releases easily off the roll to prevent stretching and curling during and after installation.
